Children under 10 years old, unaccompanied minors, and visitors with disabilities or mobility limitations cannot visit Michelangelo's Secret Room, because the access and exit to the room are via a narrow staircase with 12 steps and no elevator is available.
Please be advised that access is not recommended either to individuals with heart conditions, claustrophobia, and to women in advanced stages of pregnancy.
There are only 4 tickets available for each time slot due to the restricted space, two available online on B-ticket and two available through the call center at +39 055 294883, active from Monday to Saturday.
The reservation is mandatory, the tickets cannot be bought onsite, and it is important to arrive at the time of booking at the entrance of the room (preferably 15 minutes earlier).
The tickets for Michelangelo's Secret Room also include the visit to the Cappelle Medicee, which can be done before or after the visit to the room during the opening times, however leaving the establishment the tickets will stop being valid.
